Spring time is Here

We recently returned from one of those magical family getaways that makes you forget about the realities of everyday life and sweeps you away to a world of relaxation, surreal surroundings, exquisite delicatessens and precious moments. For Trevor's spring break we went down the street to a local resort and within 15 minutes we were far far away. It was a great getaway before Trevor's crazy busy again. Other moments not to be forgotten; Jaden won 6th place at her chess tournament and led her school team to win first place, she rode her bike for the first time w/ out training wheels, she plays "popcorn popping" on the piano and she continues to bring home amazing pieces of art. Jacob constantly smiles and struts everywhere he goes. He loves to make silly faces at you to make you laugh and wants his dad to "sit" and play every time he walks in the room. Me??? well, I'm just trying to keep up.

January 2009

I'm getting afraid 2009 might just be the fastest year of my life! Trevor, Jaden and I started it off with a happenin' New Years Eve party!! In Jan. we had a family trip to the zoo and went to the Cartchner Cavers. The rest of Jan. Trevor was endlessly busy with a trial that was canceled the day of, he started a new semester and is finishing a 60 page note. Jaden has mastered her cartwheels and handstands, played in her first chess tournament and qualified for the state championship, she has run a mile once every week, and continues to be an amazing big sister! Jacob says a new word every single day, insists on pee-peeing in the potty and is growing up WAY to fast for me. I'm well, loving every minute of it all!!! no joke. OK almost every minute.

Merry Christmas!

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble

It's turkey time again, bring on the feast! Since this summer, with Tera's inspiration of eating "raw foods", we have eaten almost completely vegetarian and boy was I ready to sink my teeth into a big piece of a large bird! Trevor held strong and missed out. He studied for finals, while the kids and I went to Mesa for his Allen/ Stapely family reunion. We partied it up at the Dahl resort with the Maxwell,s and attended all five of the family events! It was a fun-filled weekend!
